Deconstructed Shapes

An analysis of texture, the Deconstructed Shapes showcases how ink behaves when on a highly textural background. Employing our Nepalese paper as a substrate, a single shape is silkscreened on the surface to form the composition. The fibers in the paper cast shadows, accentuating the rough surface, while the ink fills in the divots in the paper, leaving the colored area with less dimension. In a neutral tone, this silkscreen will complement any interior with its natural materials and geometric shapes. Our ebony walnut frame adds warmth and texture to the artwork. Hang all three together above a sofa or console to create an interplay of form and texture.
